As a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Tell City Clinic in Tell City, Indiana, you’ll provide specialized care focused on the health and wellness needs of women. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and managing conditions, providing preventative care, prescribing medications, and supporting patients through various stages of life. This position is ideal for an experienced, licensed provider who values patient education, collaboration, and high-quality, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and management of women’s health conditions

  • Provide routine gynecological care, prenatal care, contraceptive counseling, and health screenings

  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans, including controlled substances, in compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care

  • Educate patients on preventative health measures, reproductive health, and chronic condition management

  • Document patient interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with policies and regulations

  • Participate in professional development to maintain clinical competencies

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing

  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Indiana with authority to prescribe legend drugs, including controlled substances

  • Active Indiana Controlled Substances Registration and DEA Registration

  • Current CPR certification

  • Minimum one year of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner (during program or post-graduation)

  • Strong decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with patient care
