As a Unit Manager (RN), you’ll play a critical leadership role within the nursing department, overseeing the delivery of care to a designated group of residents. You will assess resident needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and ensure quality outcomes through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. This position is ideal for a registered nurse with a strong clinical background and supervisory experience who is passionate about improving lives through compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of nursing care and support staff including LPNs and CNAs

• Develop and evaluate resident-specific care plans in collaboration with families and healthcare providers

• Monitor and assess resident progress, making adjustments to care as needed

• Participate in discharge planning and provide ongoing support throughout each resident’s stay

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

• Deliver high-quality nursing care using current clinical practices

• Promote resident comfort, safety, and dignity through individualized care

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice

• Must hold current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)

• Clinical experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Reliable and committed to regular attendance
