As a Staffing Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining staff schedules to meet our facility’s operational and regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring every shift is adequately staffed with the appropriate team members while complying with internal staffing policies and external healthcare regulations. You will also serve as a key liaison between management and staff to support attendance and shift changes.
This is an ideal role for someone with excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and a passion for contributing to the success of a healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and adjust the facility’s master and daily work schedules

Ensure compliance with internal staffing policies and state/federal regulations
-
Coordinate shift coverage and handle last-minute call-ins or shift changes
-
Collaborate with department heads to forecast and fulfill staffing needs
-
Communicate effectively with staff regarding scheduling updates and procedures
-
Ensure accurate documentation of scheduling activities
Qualifications
-
Preferred: Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the state

Must have no findings in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
