About the Role
As a Production Welder, you will be responsible for welding, fitting, and finishing components used in aerospace applications. Working under supervision, this role supports the production of aluminum and stainless steel components while contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing environment. Training is provided for aluminum welding, with opportunities to grow your skills and certifications.
Shift Schedule:
Afternoon Shift | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Additional hours may be available on a voluntary basis.
Key Responsibilities

Perform weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations

Manufacture and assemble ferrous and non-ferrous metal fabrications

Assemble mechanical components, structures, and vessels from drawings
-
Maintain consistent quality standards in compliance with regulatory and QA requirements
-
Support a safe work environment with a goal of zero accidents
-
Assist with product improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and functionality
-
Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Minimum of 2 years of welding experience or successful completion of a formal welding education program

Candidates with 0 years of experience may qualify with a technical certificate, degree, or completed welding apprenticeship
Skills & Abilities:
-
Knowledge of welding techniques
-
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and weld prints
-
Strong basic math skills
-
Ability to recognize and solve typical production problems
-
Good communication and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
-
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
-
Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching
-
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift
Work Authorization & Compliance
