As a Production Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production processes. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, inspecting products for quality, and packing finished goods. This position offers the opportunity to work in a team-oriented, high-volume environment where attention to detail and commitment to safety are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform work assigned by the production supervisor.
• Pack finished goods into appropriate packaging.
• Track hourly production results and report machine status.
• Notify group leader or supervisor of any mechanical, safety, or production issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Rotate through all areas of production as needed.
• Measure materials to verify they meet designated tolerances.
• Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and go/no-go gauges to inspect parts.
• Conduct Total Quality Maintenance (TQM) inspections on equipment.
• Follow standardized work procedures for machine operation and part inspection.
• Check the quality of products being produced.
• Operate and maintain machines while inspecting and packing final products.
• Identify and contain defective parts; follow the “stop-call-wait” rule for abnormal situations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility with hours, including weekends.
• Capability to work effectively in a team environment.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred manufacturing experience.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screen.
• Wear all designated personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift parts chest high.
• Ability to bend over and move efficiently in a production setting.
