About the Role

As a Production Assembler, you will play a critical role in assembling aerospace components using a variety of hand tools, machines, and inspection methods. Working under minimal supervision, this position supports high-quality production standards while following company policies, safety procedures, and customer specifications. This is an afternoon shift role, ideal for individuals seeking consistent weekday hours.

Shift Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Additional hours, nights, or weekends may be required based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations following company procedures

  • Operate machines and hand tools safely and efficiently

  • Inspect your own work and others’ work to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications

  • Apply process specifications within assigned production cells

  • Record production time and quantity data accurately

  • Assist with training and support tasks in other production areas as needed

  • Actively demonstrate and comply with all safety policies and procedures

  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience preferred

  • 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly work

  • Strong problem-solving skills for atypical or non-routine situations

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, and manufacturing documents

  • Good manual dexterity for working with small parts

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods

  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the duration of the shift

Work Authorization & Compliance

This position is subject to U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements. Employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements and passing a pre-employment drug screening.
