As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at DaVita, you will play a critical role in delivering direct patient care to individuals with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. With extensive paid training, you will gain the skills needed to monitor dialysis treatments, support patients, and work alongside a dedicated care team of nurses, dietitians, and social workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one patient care throughout dialysis treatment.
  • Monitor patient vitals, dialysis machines, and treatment progress.
  • Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.
  • Build long-term relationships with patients receiving treatment three times per week.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional clinical team, under RN supervision.

  • Exposure to blood, needles, and dialysis machine setup.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
  • Comfort working around blood and needles.
  • Ability to stand for long hours and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Healthcare experience a plus, including:
    • BONENT Certified
    • Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT)
    • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
    • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
    • Phlebotomy certification
