About the Role

As an Outpatient Clinic RN at Perry County Memorial Hospital, you’ll be an essential member of our clinical care team, providing direct patient care in a clinic setting. Your responsibilities will include administering treatments, assisting with minor procedures, coordinating care, and ensuring each patient receives excellent and timely service. This role is ideal for a licensed RN who thrives in a collaborative outpatient environment and enjoys engaging directly with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, vital signs, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to implement care plans.
• Prepare patients and assist with outpatient procedures and exams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record system.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Ensure clinic rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations.
• Respond to patient inquiries and phone calls in a timely, professional manner.

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience; outpatient or office setting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed during interruptions or high-pressure situations.
