As a Night Lube Technician at Materials Transport, Inc., a CRH Company, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment running smoothly. Based in Tell City, IN, you’ll work on-site during overnight hours, ensuring each unit is serviced and safe to hit the road the next day. You’ll perform routine oiling and greasing of moving parts, conduct fluid checks, complete scheduled preventative maintenance, and keep accurate records—all while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled lubrication and preventative maintenance on fleet equipment

• Maintain and monitor fluid levels, oil inventory, and grease supplies

• Conduct pre-shift inspections on grease trucks and other service vehicles

• Make minor repairs to equipment and report defects or mechanical concerns

• Maintain cleanliness of tools, workspaces, and service areas

• Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• High school diploma or GED

• One to three months of related mechanical or lube tech experience preferred

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor, sometimes strenuous, conditions

• Knowledge of oil types and proper usage in heavy equipment is a plus
