Join our team as a Technical Support Intern and work alongside operations management to provide critical support for surveying, exploration, reserve evaluation, and mine planning activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aggregate operations, predictive maintenance, and engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in safety training and gain an overview of plant operations and products.
• Assist in aggregate operations, including mine planning, KPI reporting, and production analysis.
• Train as a ground person, equipment operator, and plant operator to understand plant processes and predictive maintenance programs.
• Support engineering processes such as capital expenditure planning, AggFlow analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate on projects to right-size mobile equipment and evaluate project payback criteria.

What You’ll Need for Success:

• Education: Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in a related field, with at least one year of college completed.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers gained through experience or coursework.
• Communication Skills:
  • Ability to interact effectively with vendors, service providers, and employees at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and present information.
• Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning Skills:
  • Ability to solve problems and manage variables in standardized situations.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be comfortable with physical activities such as walking, climbing, and stooping.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
• Moderate noise levels.
• Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hard hats, and gloves, is required.
