Medical Imaging Receptionist

As a Medical Imaging Receptionist at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City, Indiana, you’ll play a pivotal role in the patient experience by providing administrative and logistical support to the imaging department. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients, scheduling appointments, updating records, and ensuring seamless coordination between patients and clinical staff. Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.

• Schedule imaging appointments and assist with registration and intake processes.

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely data entry into hospital systems.

• Provide support to imaging staff by preparing documentation and facilitating smooth workflow.

• Respond to patient inquiries and coordinate communication between patients and clinical teams.

• Perform clerical tasks including filing, phone calls, and form processing.

• Assist with patient transport when needed, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Current CPR certification required (must provide documentation).

• Prior experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred.
