We’re currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our long-term care campus in Tell City, Indiana. What You’ll Do:
As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll assist in keeping our building, equipment, and grounds in excellent condition. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and at home. You’ll support the Director of Plant Operations and contribute to the overall success of the Maintenance Department in compliance with current federal and state regulations.
Key duties include:

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment

Assisting with HVAC, electrical, painting, plumbing, and carpentry work

Ensuring the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained

Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and courteous manner

Supporting compliance with life safety codes and other regulatory requirements

Who We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or GED
-
Hands-on experience in maintenance, technical trades, or facility repair

Familiarity with electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and painting preferred

Experience in healthcare facilities a plus
