Liquor Store Clerk

As a Part-Time Retail Associate, you’ll play an essential role in welcoming customers, assisting with purchases, and helping maintain a clean and organized store. Your primary focus will be on customer service, light stocking, and ensuring compliance with alcohol sales regulations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, is reliable, and is interested in a flexible schedule that may include evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately.

• Perform light stocking of shelves and help maintain a clean store environment.

• Ensure compliance with alcohol sales laws by checking valid IDs.

• Support store upkeep by cleaning surfaces and organizing displays.

• Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for customers and coworkers alike.

Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Must have or be willing to obtain an Indiana Alcohol Employee Permit.

• Reliable transportation to and from Tell City, IN.

• Ability to relocate prior to starting, if necessary.

• Friendly, customer-service mindset with basic math and communication skills.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.

• Open to individuals with a criminal record—everyone is encouraged to apply.
