The House Manager / Home Assistant will take ownership of household routines, organization, and coordination to ensure daily life runs smoothly. This individual will handle a wide range of responsibilities—from cleaning and errands to vendor coordination and family support—while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Household Care & Cleaning

Oversee daily tidying, including dishes, counters, laundry, floors, and bedrooms.

Coordinate or assist with deep cleaning (appliances, blinds, seasonal tasks).

Manage laundry: wash, dry, iron, and care for special garments.

Handle trash, recycling, and box breakdowns.
Organization & Resets

Create and maintain daily, weekly, and seasonal organization routines.

Declutter and organize closets, pantries, and storage areas.

Manage seasonal transitions (decor, garden, outdoor furniture).
Vehicle Care
-
Schedule and track maintenance, detailing, and fuel needs.

Stock vehicles with essentials such as first aid kits, chargers, and snacks.
Errands & Logistics

Handle returns, shipping, and errands (gifts, prescriptions, supplies).

Manage pickups and drop-offs for family or household needs.
Food & Kitchen Management

Maintain an organized pantry and refrigerator, ensuring items are stocked and fresh.

Grocery shop and coordinate delivery services.

Prepare meals, snacks, and assist with entertaining and cleanup.
Home & Property Maintenance

Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and repairs.

Schedule service providers for lawn care, pest control, plumbing, and general upkeep.
Plants, Pets & Living Beings

Water, fertilize, and care for plants.

Feed, walk, and groom pets; schedule vet appointments and restock supplies.
Family & Kids Support

Assist with school preparation (supplies, lunches, permission slips).

Organize extracurricular activities and family schedules.

Provide transportation to after-school programs as needed.
Travel & Seasonal Support

Prepare luggage and coordinate home readiness before and after travel.

Qualifications

Proven experience in household management, hospitality, or personal assistant roles preferred.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
