Perry County Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated PRN Home Care Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Tell City Clinic team. In this role, you’ll provide skilled therapy services to individuals in the comfort of their homes, helping them achieve independence and improve their quality of life.
About the Role:
As a Home Care Occupational Therapist, you’ll assess and treat patients with physical, emotional, or developmental conditions that impact their ability to perform daily tasks. Your work will be tailored to each patient’s environment and individual needs, supporting their ability to live more independently and safely. This role requires a high degree of focus, emotional intelligence, and adaptability to provide meaningful care in a variety of home settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patient needs and create customized occupational therapy plans

Deliver therapeutic interventions that improve function and promote independence

Educate patients and families on techniques and equipment to support recovery

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated treatment

Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Offer compassionate support and communication during emotionally sensitive situations
Qualifications:

Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited school

Current registration with the AOTA and/or licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Indiana

Current CPR certification

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to remain calm and resourceful under stress

Physical ability for mobility, lifting, and fine motor coordination required in patient care
Work Environment:
This part-time PRN position is based out of the Tell City Clinic with travel to patient homes. The work involves moderate physical exertion and requires strong attention to detail, emotional resilience, and the ability to adapt to a variety of home care environments.
