Fischer’s Furniture & Appliance is seeking a dependable and hardworking Delivery Assistant to help with the delivery, setup, and installation of furniture and appliances for customers. If you enjoy hands-on work, being active, and providing excellent customer service, this is a great opportunity to join a trusted local business that values its employees and customers.

This is a full-time position with great benefits and opportunities for overtime. No previous experience is required—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery and setup of furniture and appliances in customers’ homes.
• Assemble furniture and ensure proper installation of appliances.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck and workspace.
• Handle and transport items safely and efficiently.
• Follow company safety procedures and guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items (50+ lbs).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in delivery, warehouse work, or moving is a plus, but not required—we will train the right person!
