About the Role
As an EHS Coordinator at Parker Aerospace, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and driving the success of environmental, health, and safety programs throughout the facility. Reporting to facility leadership and working closely with Corporate EHS, you will lead initiatives focused on accident prevention, regulatory compliance, waste minimization, and energy management. This role is ideal for a safety-minded professional with strong regulatory knowledge and a passion for fostering a culture of well-being and environmental stewardship in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures to meet facility objectives and corporate goals.
- Coordinate and deliver EHS training across the facility.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Lead and document corrective actions from audits and inspections.
- Manage all required EHS reports and maintain necessary records.
- Serve as the on-site contact for Corporate EHS regarding regulatory actions or concerns.
- Chair ISO 14000/18000 committees (if applicable) and support customer EHS reporting (e.g., IMDS).
- Integrate EHS with Lean, Human Resources, and Supply Chain initiatives.
- Mentor and train new facility EHS personnel.
- Support recycling and waste reduction programs.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably in Environmental Health & Safety.
- 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
- Experience with Ergonomics and Behavior-Based Safety is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours as needed.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (per export compliance laws).
