Customer Service Specialist

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the first friendly face clients meet when they walk into our Rivergate Tell City branch. You will play a key role in helping community members manage their finances, learn about banking products, and feel confident in their financial decisions. This role offers a strong foundation for anyone interested in a long-term career in banking, insurance, or wealth management.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will work directly with clients each day—managing a cash drawer, performing loan and deposit transactions, verifying account information, and assisting both clients and team members. You’ll uncover customer needs, educate clients on German American products and services, and guide them with friendly, meaningful conversations. Your ability to listen, communicate clearly, and support customers through each step will help build long-lasting relationships.

Qualifications

Success in this role requires a strong commitment to confidentiality, active listening, and a willingness to identify opportunities to better serve clients. We provide thorough training, but experience in customer service, multilingual abilities, or prior cash-handling experience are valuable assets.
