As a Construction Project Manager at Milestone, you will be the driving force behind planning, coordinating, and executing commercial and industrial construction projects. You’ll collaborate with various internal teams, subcontractors, and municipal agencies to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence. From pre-construction planning to project closeout, you’ll guide the full lifecycle of each build while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and team alignment.

This position is ideal for a proactive leader with a solid background in construction management and a passion for solving problems and seeing projects come to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage construction budgets and schedules

• Oversee site planning, municipal meetings, rezoning processes, and permitting

• Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with codes and regulations

• Monitor on-site progress through regular reports, visits, and coordination with superintendents

• Lead contractor bidding, material procurement, and change order management

• Conduct project meetings and issue timely internal/external progress reports

• Track financial performance and proactively manage risks and scope changes

• Resolve issues quickly to maintain workflow and meet project timelines

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• 3+ years of construction project management experience

• Strong understanding of construction methods, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Experience with estimating, project takeoffs, and job cost accounting

• Effective leadership, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
