About the Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Tell City Clinic, you’ll be a key member of the healthcare team, working directly with patients and medical professionals to ensure smooth clinical operations. From assisting with exams to preparing lab work and maintaining accurate records, you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality care. This position is ideal for someone with experience in phlebotomy or medical assisting who enjoys a hands-on and people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures.
• Assist physicians with clinical tasks and minor medical procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens as needed.
• Record patient information and vital signs accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in exam rooms and work areas.
• Coordinate with physicians, office staff, and hospital personnel for efficient care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all clinic protocols and safety regulations.

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a phlebotomist and/or medical assistant preferred.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology and clinic operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching.
