About the Role

As an Associate Member Advisor at Hoosier Hills Credit Union, you’ll be a vital part of a member-focused team, helping individuals achieve their financial goals while providing outstanding service. This float position serves the Southern Region, primarily in Chrisney and Tell City, with occasional travel to Jasper and French Lick.

You’ll work with both new and existing members, assisting with daily transactions, general account maintenance, product recommendations, and financial service inquiries. Your role will contribute directly to member satisfaction and strengthen relationships that last a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service aligned with Hoosier Hills Credit Union’s mission and service promises.

• Build and maintain strong member relationships through professional and friendly interactions.

• Perform transactions, account maintenance, and resolve service requests accurately and efficiently.

• Ensure adherence to all transactional procedures, including security protocols, BSA/AML regulations, and supervisor overrides.

• Assist members with online banking, card services, wire transfers, and statement inquiries.

• Recommend financial products and services that meet member needs and support their goals.

• Collaborate with team members, share ideas, and actively participate in planning and improvement efforts.

• Commit to personal growth through continuous learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 1–2 years of retail experience with daily customer interaction preferred.

• Prior cash handling and clerical experience is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional, positive attitude with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness and flexibility to travel across multiple Southern Region locations.
